Activities Of The Educational Support Services
The evaluation & accreditation division of the education support services department performs the following activities.
- Evaluation of both Local Foreign Qualifications for employment and admission purposes.
- Authentication of academic and professional qualifications awarded in Nigeria for study abroad.
- Issuing of eligibility letters for candidates wishing to travel abroad for studies and employments purposes.
- Issuing of no objection letter to institutes or other educational outfits.
Vision
To be a leading driver in the Creation of a well-coordinated, planned and physically developed facilities in Kano State Ministry of Education, for the effective delivery and implementation of strategies to make Kano State among the leading academically developed states.
Functions of The Physical Planning Department are:
- Preparation of annual Capital Budget for The Kano State Ministry of Education and coordination of budgets for the MDA's under The Ministry.
- Preparation of physical planning briefs for The Kano State Ministry Of Education.
- Coordination of the preparation of Master Plan/Master Plan Updates for The Kano State Ministry Of Education.
- Identification of priority projects for Kano State Ministry of Education and preparation of action plans for Master Plan implementation.
- Computerization of the Ministry's activities and provision of year 2021 compliant office equipments.
- Designing of Kano State Ministry Of Education owned construction projects.
- Coordinating consultancy works in respect of construction works overseen by consultants.
- Undertaking building maintenance services and providing quantity survey services.
